Stone
A light green to brown faded Siberian Nephrite of exceptional quality. It holds even the finest edges and allows tips to be sharpened to the point that it pierces the skin. It’s almost totally transparent, thus appearing very delicate.

Design
A flower emerging in a spiral movement from the inside out. As petals grow, they overlap the lower ones and become overlapped by the ones that follow.

Inspiration
A flower grows from the inside. If you have ever watched a blossom closely, you might have noticed how petals unfold. In a natural cycle of sprouting, unfurling and wilting, the blossom develops its characteristic patterns and colour. I preserved this moment in a stone forever. There are infinite types of different flowers, each one with their beauty and shine. I didn’t look at a particular one when I created this design. I simply adapted the principle that I observed in blossoms, interpreted it and crafted it onto the stone to what has become a series of similarly styled flowers, this one being the most delicate of them.
